Chengetai which is a charity organization that seeks to aid in providing sustainable access to sanitary wear to girls in Zimbabwe. Chengetai was founded in March of 2019 in light of unstable economic situation in Zimbabwe which has led to increased difficulty in maintaining good menstrual management.
As Chengetai they provide education on menstrual management and the dangers of the lack there of as well as providing lessons on hand-sewing sanitary wear. The organization has conducted education sessions at schools such as Bishopslea, St.Vincent and an upcoming session at Selbourne Routledge, Harare.
Recently established most funds have been sourced through fundraising events such as our raffle and the upcoming Mother-Daughter Tea on the 27th of July which they are very excited about and we recommend to you all if you’re in Harare! Be sure to get in touch. With regards to donations or any type of contributions please get in touch with Chengetai.
