Meet our Spotlight our very own Liaison Kevin Mwenye. A media catalyst for change in the digital space across all scopes of media through expertise in Writing, Editing and Digital public relations, leadership and everything cool media related.

Kevin Mwenye is a certified journalist, and was one of the youngest Editor in Chief and Public relations officer in Zimbabwe at the age of 18. An all round media practitioner while venturing into serial music and sports entrepreneurship.

He’s worked as a journalist and a content creator since 2015 and is aligned and has worked with media houses such us MakambaOnline, Bulawayo24, The Zimbabwean as a political analyst and writer. In addition he’s also worked with Enthuse Mag, CheckoutAfrica, music in Africa, SA HIP HOP magazine as a music curator and contributor for showbiz and entrainment. He has also worked as Content creator and public relations officer for The Movement and Twunhu Apps.

As an editor in Chief Kevin Mwenye worked with Misred in 2015 as co founder and editor in Chief for Imisred while he was her PA and PRO. In addition in 2019 Kevin Mwenye worked as Editor in Chief and co project director with Kosha to Release the first edition of @takosha.mag TaKOSHA Magazine which featured sikandar Raza as the cover and Mikey Chindiya.

Currently Kevin is working on various projects with the various people as he’s ventured in becoming a pioneer in MEDIA AND PR for different projects while working with MADEINZWE, CheckoutAfrica and head of media and Pr for PlaybyPlay which is an entertainment and sports brand management company, while working hand in hand with artists and sportmen/women in the frontline.

Kevin Mwenye is also founder of MaziKontent an Afrocentric content creation hub which aims at creating and curating African content to the world.

His dream is to revolutionalise media in Africa and Zimbabwe as a whole through mass content curation on the non mainstream field directing it to the mainstream media where he feels he will be apart or spark the change to revolutionize in Zimbabwe and in many other african countries.
