Lee Mchoney is a Zimbabwean singer, song writer, actress and brand influencer whose musical scope is so wide and is still evolving. As an Afro fusion artiste she performs mainly in Ndebele, Shona, Xhosa and English.
She attended secondary school at Mtshabezi high school in Bulawayo before she moved to South Africa where she completed her matric in Nzululwazi high school. She then proceeded to study a diploma in computer engineering before she moved back to Zimbabwe where she started a career in the arts industry.
From a tender she has always had a passion for music , musically things started to take off in 2017, after collaborating with Cal Vin on his afro jazz album (Uthando) before releasing  her smash EP “Wakandinyepera”. Her Notable hits  are one she did with multi award winning dance choreographer John Cole. It was nominated for the best House track in the star FM music awards 2019. My qualifier, from her latest album #SANA won the best urban metro song at the #SKYMA19 in Bulawayo where she also took the best female award.
Lee as she’s affectionately known to her fans has been one of the most active local acts, performing at major events in Zimbabwe and Botswana. She has worked with notable Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah as a backing vocalist on the song chipo from the album Kutonga kwaro.  She also appered as a cameo queen on Harmonize and Jah Prayzah collaboration “Ndoenda newe”
In 2018 she did a sound track for Loud Africa and worked as a recording artist signed at African Fire Production in a contract which runs from May to August. In the same year she collaborated with multi award winning dancer and choreographer John Cole for the song skoro skoro, which was later nominated for the Star FM Music in the Outstanding House Song category.
