A young and dynamic Mental Health Activist currently completing her law degree at the University of Monash in South Africa.
At 19, Tiwanna published her first book ‘Pain is a Feeling’ which is a collection of poems that are centered on the subject of pain. The solution that the book brought rested in three stages (3). Firstly, the anthology will assist one to identify the pain they are going through. We live in a broken society and only a few have come in terms or realized this. The second stage is admission. The majority fail to admit the adversaries they face, instead they, hide it. Lastly, the stage of confrontation. Identification and deeper understanding of the pain enables one to formulate solutions and face the pain head on. In the end, it is soothed.
After hosting workshops, visiting a prison in Zimbabwe in 2017 Tiwanna realized how effective this movement was, this was evident by the amount of people who reached out to her thereafter.
Since Then Tiwanna has not slowed down and has gone onto: •Feature on EFFUSE UK magazine 2017 •Be on Monash University magazine 2017 and 2018 edition
