Meet our Spotlight Focus, Nkosinathi Ncube who is a young Zimbabwean content creator , graphic designer and an aspiring model.
“I’m a YouTuber. I’ve just started focusing on YouTube because I want to inspire and entertain people of my generation with creative content.” ______
“I aspire to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. Follow my YouTube channel KaScoop TV where my friends and have life reactions to new videos from different Zimbabwean artists. So far we have looked at Takura’s No Shopping, Ay Poyoo GOAT and Jay Prayzah’s Donhodzo. You don’t want to miss out.”
Modeling has been my dream since I was 17. I feel like modeling has been taken for granted in the society as some of the elders see it as a way of deriving from cultural values. Yet it has risen and changed a lot of people’s lives. Modeling has become a job and a baseline for fashion industry and at the same time created a lot of opportunities for young people out there to venture into money making projects like designing and marketing.
I see the modeling industry as an inspirational industry which plays a paramount role in the society, country and the world. Fashion and clothing is inseparable therefore modeling plays a bigger part in our lives nowadays.
I’ve got 3 supermodels that I look up to, these are Tino Chinyani, Mr Passy and my brother Zviko Motsi.
Personally I would say I’m into different fashion styles but street wear fashion is my best style, because it’s a story telling class of fashion, it’s a communicating ability tones of people seem to miss or should I say seem not to get. Street wear fashion is ordinary clothing suitable for public appearances, identity presentations, storytelling purposes, mental calibration and cultural basis (as opposed to costumes or sports apparel or work clothes etc.) Street wear fashion is a revolutionary fashion style which needs creative minds to come up with amazing designs which relate to many stories and people.
I’m not only into modeling, I’m a graphic designer and also
My message to the upcoming people like me is be Authentic, always believe in yourself and never mind what people say about you. Dreams come
