Meet Tapiwa Manhungo! A youthful sportsman from Harare currently majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Psychology and Sports Science.

I’ve always had a passion for soccer and my determination to succeed has always driven me to newer heights. I went to Gateway High school and I started playing 1st team Soccer in Form 2 and was scouted to play for the Caps United U15 ,that same year. Setting limitless goals came with the realization that I could go far with hard work. Following a great sporting year in 2016, that saw me get crowned sportsman of the year at Gateway High School and scoring 12 goals that season, I was awarded a soccer scholarship at Paris Junior College in Texas.

I suffered an ACL injury in my first season in the USA and ended up needing knee surgery that kept me on the sidelines for 12months,the setback really pushed my limits. During my year of recovery, I realized that my passion for soccer went far beyond the field.

Currently I am playing my second season for the Ozarks Eagles. Currently I am working for MM Sporting Solutions, which seeks to guide athletes and shape their sporting vision. They helped me successfully transfer to Ozarks University. Off the field Tapiwa, has an ABE diploma in Business Management and Human Resources and recently graduated with Associates Degree in Business Management. He also has a talk show were he interviews current and past footballers in a bid to inspire upcoming footballers that even in the tough times they are in they can still rise to the top.!
